A customer recently asked me to add a touch of nationalism to his ipad cover...
Following that, another request came in for the ipad below!
A real West African mix!
I must admit that I didn't enjoy the sore thumbs I had after stitching these flags in but the customers were very pleased with the finished product so it was worth the pain...I think ;-)
Soo, if you want some personalisation on your cover let me know... <3

Early Days
Hi friends :-),
To give you all some idea of the earlier days of Tabitha, (earlier because it's still pretty early days!) have a look at the pictures below,
Me selecting buttons to match the brown wool
The iphone case in use in the car! I was impressed to find that the iphone case also fits Blackberry Bolds.

The very first ipad cover below! I didn't know how to make button holes then so I gave it a velcro closure haha!
My fiance uses this one, I have since asked him if he wants me to give it a button but he says he likes it just the way it is :-)
Thanks a lot to Tim and Louise for the professional shots below - I really appreciate it :-)

Mixed materials!
So, having played around with the brown, I've decided to try out the autumn red woolen fabric, it passes much easier through the old Singer than the brown and is smoother.
Similar story for the blue fabric.
I sold a couple of the brown and autumn red ones and received feedback that tiny fibres from the wool were getting into the ipad/iphone/Blackberries! So, I decided to line the following items.
I also found a really pretty green wool :-)
So here's the whole batch so far, if anything tickles your fancy, let me know! I am going to start doing "un classic" things like the green wool plus a bright pink lining (my friend requested this). Will upload pics soon!

Once Upon A Time....
About that time she became sick and died, and her body was washed and placed in an upstairs room. Lydda was near Joppa; so when the disciples heard that Peter was in Lydda, they sent two men to him and urged him, "Please come at once!". Peter went with them, and when he arrived he was taken upstairs to the room.
All the widows stood around him, crying and showing him the robes and other clothing that Tabitha had made while she was still with them.
Peter sent them all out of the room; then he got down on his knees and prayed. Turning toward the dead woman, he said, "Tabitha, get up." She opened her eyes, and seeing Peter she sat up. He took her by the hand and helped her to her feet. Then he called the believers and the widows and presented her to them alive. This became known all over Joppa, and many people believed in the Lord!!
